According to the President of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, it is necessary to promote, support and consolidate the governments from such companies, which serve to keep alive the hope that it is possible to create quality jobs, and also to find basic principles of democracy and solidarity .

(Madrid, September 15, 2011). - President of the Region of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, offered on Thursday at a conference in Madrid under the first breakfast CEPES(Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy), which has addressed the importance and strength of this business model as an "essential tool" for creating jobs and ending the crisis.

In this sense, Valcarcel has shown how this formula work has been achieved in these years of hardship, "not only to maintain the business, but to create new businesses and quality jobs."

Thus, the President of the Region of Murcia has emphasized that these companies are an "engine of growth and economic development of the region, which retains jobs and creating new partnerships." In the Region there are over 2,300 cooperatives and labor companies, representing 6.3% of the national total, which employ over 22,000 people, more than 6% of Spanish cooperative employment. During the first six months of this year 142 were created in Murcianew social economy enterprises allowed to insert in the labor market to some 600 unemployed.

These figures, Valcarcel said, "show that these entities are the best future option for the contribution of the Murcia region of Spain socio-economic development".
