Madrid, December 10, 2020. Training will be one of the pillars of reconstruction according to the Plan to Promote Vocational Training in Self-Employed Work and the Social Economy, to which the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy will allocate 3.4 million euros. The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) is one of the protagonists of this Plan that consolidates and articulates the incorporation of the representative entities of the Social Economy into the Vocational Training for employment system.

One of the objectives of this Plan is to anticipate the training needs of workers in the Social Economy and establish the foundations for a global transformation, led by modernization, digitization, driven in turn by advances in artificial intelligence and the robotic. All this entails the emergence of new professional profiles and that existing ones adapt and represents an opportunity for professional development to build inclusive and sustainable growth.

In this context and with the objective of disseminating the opportunities offered by the Social Economy in the immediate future, CEPES is developing a series of Studies financed by FUNDAE (State Foundation for Employment Training), with which it is intended to establish the bases for moving towards a Digital Transformation and adapting training to new professional profiles and also analyzing job opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship that the Social Economy represents for young people.

To give visibility to these resources, under the slogan 'Follow the steps of the Social Economy, the company of the future', CEPES is carrying out a dissemination campaign with different pieces of advertising, sponsored content, videos and an exhaustive promotion in its RRSS channels.

The president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, has insisted on “we want to channel the need and urgency to provide workers and companies with all the instruments available to access the skills of new emerging sectors, digital transformation, to the jobs of the future and, through the resources that we put at their disposal, help them to generate innovative and competitive projects with great social impact ”.

Predeño adds: "we have the obligation to build a better future and, in this context, Social Economy companies reinforce the transition towards more resilient societies and contribute to reducing inequalities, but for all this they need training".
