CEPES and the Third Sector Platform join another year to promote the solidarity company box of Corporation Tax between the Social Economy

The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) has joined the Campaign of the Third Sector Platform (PTS) to promote and disclose the corporate tax solidarity company box through which, for the second consecutive year, You can allocate 0.7% of the full quota declared by this tax to finance social projects. This has been signed in a meeting held between both entities, within the collaboration agreement that CEPES and the PTS have signed in order to implement joint actions. Both organizations share values and place the person at the center of their activity.

Madrid, May 28, 2020 .- The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) has joined the Campaign of the Platform of the Third Sector (PTS) to promote and publicize the solidarity company box of Corporate Tax through which, for the second consecutive year, 0.7% of the entire quota declared by this tax may be used to finance social projects.

This has been signed in a meeting held between the two entities, within the collaboration agreement that CEPES and the PTS have signed in order to implement joint actions. Both organizations share values and place the person at the center of their activity.

The president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño , has specified that "most Social Economy companies support the X for social purposes of Corporation Tax, since if anything characterizes them they are their values and solidarity, their commitment to the territory and with generating stable and quality employment, favoring the inclusion of groups at risk of exclusion or people with disabilities and, above all, because they combine economic and social profitability ”.

The president of the Third Sector Platform (PTS), Luciano Poyato , has assured that this year business solidarity is more necessary than ever given the unprecedented health and social emergency situation that Spain is experiencing due to the Covid-19. "We need your help so that social entities can be solvent to continue serving each and every one of the victims of this pandemic, which multiplies exponentially every day," said Poyato.

CEPES will disclose the agreement between the Social Economy companies, which may join by checking box 00073 (model 200) or 069 (model 220) and thus contribute, with Corporation Tax, to the effectiveness of social entities so that They can meet the real demand and help the training of professionals, as well as the strengthening and cohesion of the internal networks of the Third Sector. Those interested may check this option voluntarily and will not incur any additional expense for the company.

 

About the Third Sector Platform

Founded in January 2012 by seven of the most representative organizations in the social field in Spain (PVE, POAS, EAPN, CERMI, Red Cross, Cáritas and ONCE), the Platform has subsequently been joined by the Spanish NGO Coordinator and the Children's Platform.
