The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) has officially become 'intermediate body' of the 'Operational Programme Social Inclusion and Social Economy of the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020. (Madrid, October 2016) .- The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) has officially become 'intermediate body' of the 'Operational Programme Social Inclusion and Social Economy of the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020.

President of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, and General Deputy Director of the Administrative Unit of the European Social Fund (UAFSE), Angel Maria Garcia Fontelo signed in a ceremony held at the headquarters of this institution, the agreement Allocation Functions employer's Social Economy as intermediate body.

Pedroza said that "the registration of CEPES as intermediate body ESF is of great importance to promote investment avenues to enhance the social economy, a key sector to create stable and quality employment, economic and social wealth as well as companies committed to the territory where premium the person and democracy in decision-making. The 'Operational Programme of Social Inclusion and Social Economy' ESF's objectives is to promote and finance actions to promote sustainability and quality of employment, supporting labor mobility, social inclusion and combating poverty and any form of discrimination.

As part of this initiative, CEPES, has already taken action under the 'Operational Programme of Social Inclusion and Social Economy of the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 as the launch of two calls with a staff of 8, 5 million euros.

The first, with 6 million euros, aimed at the creation of businesses and employment in the Social Economy, professionalize HR and management, and promote entrepreneurship in young people who are in formal training. The second, with 2.5 million aimed to create and maintain jobs for people in situations and / or risk of social exclusion and people with disabilities.
