The Social Economy in Navarra plays a key role in the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market

Pamplona today hosted the presentation of the study 'The social economy as an engine of employment for people with disabilities', prepared by the ONCE Foundation in collaboration with CEPES and ESF co-financing



(Pamplona, September 24, 2015) .- ONCE Foundation, in collaboration with Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES), promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through the Social Economy entities.

The Hall of the Territorial Delegation of ONCE Pamplona has hosted today the presentation of the study Navarra 'The social economy as an engine of employment for people with disabilities', prepared by the ONCE Foundation in collaboration with CEPES and CEPES-Navarra and financing from the European Social Fund.

The event brought together representatives of the Navarra government, the disability movement and the Social Economy companies, who analyzed the work done this business sector for labor inclusion and undertook to promote the hiring of collective People with disabilities.

The president of CEPES-Navarra,Ignacio Ugalde, said that "in Navarra, the social economy, especially through the Special Employment and Social Initiative Cooperatives, performs a key role to achieve the inclusion of people with disabilities is a success, thanks to offer stable and quality work, "he noted

Ugalde has also added that "these companies put above economic values, human" and that, despite good levels of recruitment, "is not enough and will work to improve these results."

A desire to share Carmen Burgui, CEO of cermin, has congratulated the companies and organizations of the Social Economy, to "maintain and increase employment of people with disabilities in times of crisis."

Meanwhile, Lorena Basols, Director of FSC Inserted in Aragón, Navarra and La Rioja, referred to the promotion of integration into the world of the disabled employment and training "to perform its functions properly and effectively. Basols also CEPES held her hand and said "can help to achieve ambitious but feasible targets employment".

The territorial delegate of ONCE in Navarra, Juan Carlos Andueza, stressed that good employment data between disabled people support this project.

Furthermore, the managing partner of Abay Analysts Economic and Social Maribel Martinez, stressed that "the main potential is attributed to the social economy apart from creating employment-standardization is the setting in which other companies can see that insertion is possible and feasible, successful and pro-business. "

Social-Economy encounters FSC Inserts

The presentation of the report took place under the cooperation agreement signed between the ONCE Foundation and CEPES, in order to foster mutual knowledge and publicize the specialized services offered by the entity for the employment of people with disabilities.

The aim of this event is that companies and entities of the Social Economy of Navarre, associated with CEPES-Navarra, know Inserts FSC services, ONCE Foundation entity expert in employment and training of people with disabilities, whose program is funded by the European Social Fund, and thereby promote their inclusion in the labor market.

After the presentations in Murcia, Andalusia, Aragon and Navarra soon Inserts new FSC meetings with entities and companies of the Social Economy in Valencia and Catalonia will be held.
