Social Economy companies of Aragon lead the employment of people with disabilities

The event was attended by the territorial delegate of ONCE in Aragon, Ignacio Escanero; the territorial director of FSC Inserts in Aragon, Lorena Basols and President of CEPES-Aragon, Felipe Gomez.

One of the main conclusions of the study at the state level is that companies and entities of the Social Economy incorporate "a much higher percentage" of people with disabilities in their workforce (6.2% of workers) compared with the rest of trading companies (1.7%).

An important variable in hiring people with disabilities in the Social Economy is the size of the companies, Since the percentage of workers with disabilities is higher in those large on the medium (9.3% and 2.2% respectively).
