(Madrid, October 14, 2014) .- The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) and Fundación ONCE have signed an agreement to promote employment, full inclusion, equal opportunities and non-discrimination of people with disabilities.

The agreement was signed by the president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño and Vice President of Fundación ONCE, Alberto Durán. In it, both organizations are committed to joint activities to promote employment of people with disabilities in the social economy, which is part Fundación ONCE shares.

Duran said that this agreement constitutes a "natural alliance" since from Fundación ONCE "we share the discourse of social economy." Furthermore, emphasized that this agreement will move "to a very broad scope to state and territory level, covering different sectors of CEPES." In this regard, he warned, "isis a challenge that we have to put our ability to adapt to the territory at peak demand. "

Meanwhile, Pedreño said that "between CEPES and Fundación ONCE, through this agreement, we will advance the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market." He also added that "the Social Economy has aimed to become the largest employer of people with disabilities. This success would be the bestexample we could give to society. "

Thanks to this agreement, all the families of the Social Economy experience in labor inclusion of the Fundación ONCE and its group companies will move. The agreement emphasizes that the social economy represents 12% of GDP and generating more than 2.2 million jobs.

Among the actions that through this agreement will be developed include the development of a 'Study on Social Economy companies as leverage to create jobs for people with disabilities'. Once done, it will launch an awareness campaign in different regions and encourage therelationships with members of CEPES.

The agreement also promote self-employment of people with disabilities in the field of Social Economy, as well as activities to promote accessibility in CEPES member institutions, and the support and advice to disabled workers and relatives of these.

Pedreño and Duran have also signed the accession of that confederation Forum Head Inserts, Fundación ONCE. A platform for networking and social innovation that enables sharing practices, tools and experiences that promote the efficient development of CSR policies-D.
