(Madrid, July 29, 2014). The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy, CEPES, presented a year List of Relevant Companies in the Social Economy 2013-2014. This company ranking includes information of 809 Companies in the Social Economy of different legal forms, namely 285 cooperatives, 218 industrial companies, 25 mutual funds, 55 special employment centers, 121 companies insertion fishermen's 69 7 31 business groups and companies from other legal forms of the social economy. This report is made with the data provided by all partners CEPES.
This aims Ranking visualize the business model of social economy and providing information on companies based on their legal form, which act sectors, employment and turnover data.
According to statements by the President of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño "Spanish companies in the Social Economy CEPES framed, with a turnover of 150.978 million euros in 2013, operating in all economic sectors; are of all sizes, from micro and SMEs, which despite its size are essential for socio-economic development at local level, to large business groups with a strong presence atinternational l ". "One more year you can find brands, leaders in sectors such as food, credit, education, health, wholesale marketing, food distribution and dependency care," the President of CEPES
This "ranking of Social Economy" which is updated annually also provides information on seven major business groups in the Social Economy CEPES associated with a turnover of 58.302 million euros and employed 125,705 people in 2013.
These groups are Atlantis Group, Cajamarca Caja Rural, Espriu Foundation, Grup Clade, Gredos San Diego Group, Mondragon Corporation and Unide.
