Juan Antonio Pedreño has been elected today new member of the Governing Council in the General Assembly COOPERATIVES EUROPE 160,000 representing the cooperative enterprises of the European continent and generate over 5.4 million jobs. Juan Antonio Pedreño thus ensures the participation and presence of the Spanish cooperative movement in the government body that leads the organization and representation of European cooperative movement in Brussels and worldwide.
The General Assembly held in Istanbul today marks a new direction in the development of European cooperatives with the election of a new President, German Dirk Lehnhoff, whose mission will consolidate main COOPERATIVES EUROPE as the organization that provides visibility and promotes the interests of European cooperatives to the Community Institutions.
