CEPES CERMI supports in place in Madrid in defense of disability

It will be on Sunday, December 2, from 12.00, in Madrid, starting from Goya Street, corner of Prince of Vergara, and ending their journey in the Discovery Gardens, (Plaza de Colón), where CERMI read the manifesto.

Under the International and European Day of People with Disabilities.

Madrid, November 28, 2012. -The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy supports the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI), in the march that the social movement of disability, has convened in Madrid, under the International and European Day of People with Disabilities, with the aim of defending the rights of people with disabilities and their families.

Under the slogan "SOS Disability - Rights, Inclusion and safely welfare', this great march for disability will be held on December 2, after 12 hours, starting from Goya Street, corner of Prince of Vergara, and ending their journey in the Discovery Gardens (Plaza de Colón).

The march will include the participation of thousands of people with disabilities and their families, more volunteers, professionals and supporters, which will concentrate to join at the disturbing situation facing aggravated by the crisis and policy decisions regression of rights and weakening the precarious level of cohesion and social protection achieved by Spain.

CEPES demonstrates its full support and backing to CERMI, not only for being a member organization of Employers of Social Economy, CEPES, but also and mainly because their motives and fully shared alarm at the serious setbacks taking place in social protection for people with disabilities many planes and social policy.

With this civic event, CERMI asked, through the reading of a manifesto - which will proceed to the end of the tour -, prevent the collapse of the systems and arrangements for the promotion and protection of persons with disabilities and their families.

The active strategy of defense 'SOS Disability' will remain as the most acute endure this crisis, starting his career on the eve of the International and European Day of Persons with Disabilities, in defense of the inclusion, rights and citizenship.
