(Madrid, May 22, 2012)- President of the Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES), Juan Antonio Pedreño, said today that "although the challenge is not without difficulties, CEPES maintain its commitment to employment." These words have been spoken at the conference "The future lies in the social economy."

CEPES president commented in the act: "This is achieved because the jobs that generate social economy enterprises is quality, flexible, stable and friendly surroundings and environment."

For these reasons, Pedreño has announced that it will soon submit to the Minister for Employment and Social Security the First Covenant Employment and Social Economy Programme to Promote Social Entities,to develop the body of the new Law of Social Economy.

The president of the Employers of Social Economy, companies in this sector must be active participants, contributing from their values "?"?and business behavior to changing socio-economic model.

The head of CEPES has also been assured that the social economy will be able to meet these challenges and stressed that "CEPES going to be more proactive than ever in those policy areas where the Social Economycan add value, as are the policies of job creation, entrepreneurship, youth inclusion and exclusion groups in the labor market, financing, dependence, local development and training, "among others.
