REAS is a network of networks ALTERNATIVE ECONOMY AND SOLIDARITY, comprising more than 500 organizations and companies of the Social Economy, which we grouped in regional and sectoral networks. We are present in the international arena through RIPESS (Intercontinental Network for the Promotion of EconomySocial and Solidarity ed). REAS is legally a non-profit association, without any partisan or religious affiliation, with scope throughout the Spanish territory.

REAS Wide Web is a platform that currently includes 14 regional networks (Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, Castilla y Leon, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Extremadura, Galicia, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia, Navarra and Valencia), as well as 4 sectoral networks (Table Ethical Finance, AERESS-Espa Associationñola of recuperators of Social and Solidarity, State Coordinator of Fair Trade Economy and Energy Som).

REAS's mission is to develop the solidarity economy in the context of a Charter of Principles agreed by all entities (www.economiasolidaria.org/carta.php), And understood as a vision and a practice that claims the economy in its different facets (production, finance, trade and consumption) -and finally means, not for development of people and communities. From this perspective aims to contribute to the generation of alternatives to the economic modelprevailing omic and aims to establish itself as an instrument of social transformation that promotes sustainable, equitable and participatory development.

REAS seeks to achieve the greatest possible strengthening and recognition of the solidarity economy and the social economy, boosting the momentum of experiences and tools that generate transformative alternatives in the economic sphere. Thus, its main lines of work are:
