Who are we?
La Confederación Empresarial Española de Economía Social (CEPES), constituted in 1992, is a state-wide business organization that represents the Social Economy in Spain and is a representative and reference point for its concerns and proposals. A dynamic entity of this business reality in Spain, interlocutor for the construction of public and social policies for the promotion of the social economy business model, focused on people
CEPES, as an umbrella organization for the various economic activities existing under the concept of the Social Economy, is made up of 31 organizations. All of them are state or autonomic confederations and specific business groups, representing the interests of Cooperatives, Labor Societies, Mutual Societies, Insertion Companies, Special Employment Centers, Fishermens Guilds and Associations of the Disability Sector, with more than 200 support structures at autonomic level.

Our objectives
To facilitate the modernization of Social Economy companies and their response to the business challenges they face
Promote the Social Economy and the movements and sectors that comprise it
Promote the visibility of the Social Economy in all economic, cultural, social and political spheres of the State and the European Union
To influence and influence the elaboration of Public Policies and legislation both at State and international level
To contribute to the economic development of the country as a means to achieve stability and pluralism in the economic markets
To transfer to society and the business world a socially responsible way of doing business with specific values
