OBJECTIVE
The objective of this statistical calculation is to have homogeneous, precise, reliable and comparable data over time in order to provide information on the social economy in Spain and to publicize, plan and evaluate actions in this area..
ELABORATION
For the calculation of social economy statistics, we have taken into account, on the one hand, the analysis of secondary sources (data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, which presents up-to-date statistics on cooperatives and labor companies registered in the Social Security Social) and on the other the data collected by CEPES through a questionnaire among its associative fabric.

It is important to point out that these data constitute a statistical approximation and not a record.
